In the Beginning

The Everyday
What amazes me about art is that it can be anywhere,
on anything, and made out of everything.

It can be on the streets we drive everyday.

Underwater: yes, underwater.
"Vicissitudes" by Jason De Caires Taylor

Depth:4.5m,26 life size figures, 5m diameter, Grenada, West Indies. This sculpture installation is carved from stone that grows stronger by the algae that grow on them. This piece of sculpture actually promotes the colonization of marine life. Taylor's work is eerily remarkable.
