It's strange what our society has done with image,and how you adorn your body portrays a certain message or image.I think it's also hilarious how our society portrays women.Google "businessman" and "businesswoman".The "businesswomen" are all provocative and sexy.It's and unrealistic view of society and of life. It's pretty funny though.

From each person's style, the way they wear their hair,

to the jewelry they put on their bodies,

we are able to make snap judgements about their personality, status,

and the type of people they associate with.

These next few give the impression of status, rank, and social hierarchy.

Chinese foot binding: In China, women were raised to believe that small feet were beautiful. They would bind their feet until they fit into the smallest size of shoe. To them, this was a sign of beauty, respect, honor, and status in their society. Times have now changed, but any older generations of Chinese women still practice this tradition. Body adornments are everywhere. It is a common way for people throughout the world to express their station, individuality, honor, achievement, and views of life. From each thing we put on our body, we send out a different message. What kind of message are you sending?
